St Peters Fish

St peters fish
St Peter's Fish (Tilapia) has been farmed for about 2,500 years. It is a fast -growing tropical fish native to Israel. St Peter's Fish is a hardy, prolific fish. In order for St Peter's Fish to live they require water temperatures of 76-84 degrees Fahrenheit. Tilapias incubate their eggs orally; one or both parents carry them in their mouths until (and for a short period after) the young hatch.

Tilpia is a species that is thought to be one of the most advantageous alternatives for the production of a healthy and cheap protein. The Tilapia's growth is higher than that of other species under semi-intensive and intensive cultivation.

Tilpia has an excellent quality of meat, and great flavor, yet doesn't have the odor of most seafood. This has positioned Tilapia as the 9th most consumed protein in the United States.
